Identifying & Managing Stress at Work
Who should attend?
This course is perfect for individuals and line managers, who need a better understanding of how stress can affect behaviours and performance in the workplace. If you are unsure about how to resolve and reduce stress, this course will prove invaluable in helping you manage it yourself, and in stressful situations.
Why should you attend?
Virtually everyone suffers from a degree of stress at some point in their working lives. The modern workplace, full of extra demands on individuals, can lead to stressful conditions. We need to know how to manage it in order to stop extreme pressure turning into stress, and therefore, how to differentiate the two. Without monitoring, it can have a detrimental effect on health, motivation and performance, as well as working relationships and on personal lives.
This course will help you to distinguish between stress and pressure in yourself and how to deal with it. Our tutor will help you identify stress in others, for example within your team, and identify the triggers that cause the initial pressure. You will examine symptoms and coping mechanisms, as well as prevention measures.
