Training Courses

    • Corona Virus Impact (21st June 2021)

We are following Government advice for education providers, and until at least 19th July delivery of training sessions will continue using online platforms e.g. Zoom or Teams. Face-to-face training at Twigworth is now being offered for specific practical training sessions during stage 3 of the Government roadmap. We intend to offer face-to-face training for all courses once stage 4 of the roadmap has been confirmed which we anticipate will be from the end of July 2021 subject to the prevailing Government advice.

For our Open Programme training courses, you will receive an email with login details, passcode and confirmation of the session timings. By way of reassurance, any cancellations you make during these difficult times will not incur any penalties.

Apprenticeship Programmes will continue to be delivered using online methods and learners approaching their End Point Assessment (EPA) will be supported on a 1-2-1 basis. You will be invited to Twigworth to sit your EPA exam which must be invigilated and we are fully compliant with the current guidance Hands | Face | Space | Air message for the safety of our staff, trainers, clients and learners.

GEL staff will all be working from home and are available via Teams or email. All staff have access to the general inbox and will respond to incoming enquiries promptly.

We offer over 500 training events each year on our open programme and specialise in Leadership, Management and Business skills. As an ILM centre, we are unique in the South West being able to offer management development programmes from Level 2 through to Level 7 thereby being able to train staff right the way from shop floor to boardroom.

All training courses and qualification programmes can be delivered in-house and tailored to meet your needs. Coaching and mentoring programmes are available for your staff and 1-2-1 coaching can be provided to help develop performance.
