ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence) Testing

Who should attend?

Anyone, new or experienced computer users, wanting to gain this industry standard IT qualification to show competence in using a computer effectively.

Why should you attend?

So many people are self taught when it comes to IT skills. This is fine when your knowledge is enough to get by on, but if you suddenly need to prove your skills in the job market, or your job requires you to have to have a formal qualification, or you'd just like the satisfaction of knowing that you have reached a measurable standard, then gaining the ECDL qualification is just what you need. You can purchase our online training modules and for more information about this please call Liz Coke on 01452 733544. Alternatively, you can attend taught courses with us here at Twigworth Court Business Centre and details of all our courses are in the IT section. You will need to train to Level 2 standard.

Course Outline

Registration for ECDL costs just £25.00 + VAT. An exam is required for each module and there are seven exams which make up the qualification. The cost of these exams is just £15.00 + VAT each. These have to be taken in our IT Training Suite here at Twigworth Court Business Centre. You can arrange to take these tests with our ECDL Centre Manager Sarah Morant. The seven modules are:-

  • IT Security for Users
  • IT User Fundamentals
  • Wordprocessing
  • Spreadsheets
  • Databases
  • Presentations
  • Information and Communications
