Coping with Change

Who should attend?

This course is aimed at anyone who is designing change, bringing about change, implementing change or communicating change in the workplace.

Why should you attend?

The word change is an every day word in our business vocabulary yet is it a new phenomenon? Why does it seem that change is all around us and constant yet we think that before change there was stability? Why are those who do not ‘embrace’ change labelled as ‘resistant to change’? Why does the word ‘change’ excite some and strike horror in others? These are some of the concepts that will be tackled during this course. It is not a one fix solution. We will explore the psychology of change and try to reduce some of the stress of implementing either major or minor change at work. Whatever our feelings towards change, it is here to stay and is constant. Learning how to cope with change and supporting others through change is an absolute requirement for anyone who is responsible for staff, be it at shop floor or in the boardroom.
