The Role of the Company Secretary (In-House only)

Who should attend?

This workshop will be beneficial for anyone recently appointed to the role of Company Secretary or those more experienced company secretaries who have never attended coaching. The aim is to help them discharge their responsibilities legally and efficiently

Why should you attend?

By the end of the coaching delegates will have gained a good understanding of their role and also be better placed to avoid penalties for non-compliance. They will be able to improve the service they give to directors and be able to handle corporate affairs such as meetings, corporate governance, maintaining statutory records and company law and employment issues.

Meet the Trainer

Julie Heather

Julie Heather has a Law degree and is a professionally qualified Chartered Secretary.  Julie draws on her knowledge and experience gained from over 13 years in large industry and almost 10 years as a Director of an HR & Employment Law Consultancy, providing practical advice and guidance to a wide range of organisations. 

As an experienced workshop facilitator and trainer, Julie’s training style is to balance the requirements of the law with using practical examples.  She believes that each course should be relevant, focused and interactive.
