Resolving Conflict in the Workplace

Who should attend?

Conflict varies in any work place from annoyance to something intense and miserable. Whatever the level of conflict it may be debilitating and at the very least causes a lack of efficiency, effectiveness and productivity. So what causes conflict in the workplace? Is it "personality clashes"? Is it incompetence? Is it poor communication? Is it different working styles? This course is designed to help those who have to resolve conflict in the work place but also those experiencing it. This course not only looks at remedies but also common causes of conflict within the work place.

Why should you attend?

Some conflict is inevitable at work . If constructive, some conflict may generate innovation. Putting human beings together day after day in the same environment under pressure and even with the best teams, some form of conflict will be present from time to time. Likewise, even the best customer service may be challenged with conflict from a customer or service user. This course is for those currently dealing with conflict or who may face conflict in the future. It is for those who require techniques to deal with conflict situations and want the confidence to do so effectively.

  • Identification of conflict
  • Common causes of conflict
  • Addressing conflict
