MS Word 2003 - Creating Professional Documents (In-House Only)

Who should attend?

Those who have a basic understanding of Word and now wish to extend their knowledge to create professional interactive documents using some of the advanced features of Word 2003

Why should you attend?

This course enables you to create more sophisticated documents and move beyond simple text entry and formatting. This course covers features that will include charts, tables, graphics and automatic fields, enabling the user to create stunning reports, flyers, customer documents and work templates.

The cost for up to 12 people is £1148 + VAT

The workshop will guide delegates through the following modules:

  • Create and use templates for consistent document layout
  • Using automatic fields within a report to keep the contents up to date
  • Quick shortcuts for moving and copying paragraphs of text
  • Work with tab stops, columns, indents and outdents
  • Integrating tables into documents and formatting for impact
  • Generating mail shot envelopes and letters using Mail-merge
  • Using format painter to define a style across the document
  • Including special symbols or characters from other languages
  • Create and use basic macros to automate repetitive tasks
  • Customise toolbars to keep your regular functions available
  • Include line drawings, clipart, shapes and photographs to transform documents
  • Working with objects for desktop publishing work
  • Using floating text boxes
  • Styles ? using and creating styles
  • Creating a Table of Contents
