MS Excel 2007 Level 2 - Intermediate

Who should attend?

Those who wish to develop their skills of Excel 2007 and who are proficient in the basic use of the application and now need to learn the product beyond the basic skills.

Why should you attend?

Delegates should be should be competent at the Windows interface and with the basic functions of Excel. Attendance on the introductory course would prove advantageous, but is not essential.

Course Outline

After the course delegates will be able to:

• Enter data into complex spreadsheets
• Manage multiple cross-referenced spreadsheets
• Hide and display sensitive data
• Customise the desktop to display preferred toolbars and pull-down menus
• Integrate complex math functions and IF statements
• Validate data entry automatically against a predetermined format
• Use Excel database management features
• Integrate complex charts and graphics
• Share data between worksheets and workbooks with automatic update.
• Use the graphical abilities to design user interfaces
• Filter data and sort according to select criteria
• Combine and link to data outside of Excel
• Link to OLE objects for auto-updating
