The Equality Act 2010 (In-House Only)

Who should attend?

All individuals who are in charge of HR. This course will assist you in understanding the main changes to equality legislation arising from the Equality Act 2010, how they will impact on your organisation, and any changes you need to make.

Why should you attend?

On 1 October 2010 the most dramatic change in legislation surrounding equal opportunities will come into force with the implementation of the Equality Act. The Equality Act 2010 brings some big changes and there are many considerations for you as an employer. The act includes additional protections in a number of key areas which employers need to be aware of and it will be much easier for an individual to make a claim. Now, more than ever, employees (and therefore employers) need to know what is appropriate behaviour in the workplace. Our Equality Act 2010 Training will provide you with the knowledge and practical skills to navigate through the new law and protect yourself from risk.
