Health & Safety Risk Assessment

Who should attend?

This course is ideal for all employees. It is useful for managers, supervisors and staff because all of us have responsibility when it comes to assessing and managing risk.

Why should you attend?

Accidents and ill health can ruin lives and affect your business if output is lost, machinery is damaged, insurance costs increase, or you have to go to court. You are legally required to assess the risks in your workplace. A risk assessment is nothing more than a careful examination of what, in your work, could cause harm to people, so that you can weigh up whether you have taken enough precautions or should do more to prevent harm. The aim is make sure no one gets hurt or becomes ill.

Course Outline

  • The relevant legal requirements

  • The risk assessment process
