Qualifications

Level 2 ILM Award in Team Leading

This three-day course teaches Team Leaders about leadership, team building, delegation, motivation, communication and problem solving. The course is nationally recognised with a certificate for successful delegates from the Institute of Leadership & Management  The course costs £405 + VAT + £71 registration.

Level 3 ILM Award in First Line Management

This five-day course is for Supervisors and First Line Managers. It addresses many key issues around performance management and resource management, and offers delegates the chance to apply their learning to work by producing a report that suggest how to ‘solve a problem at work’ or bring about ‘an improvement’ at work. The course cost is £605 + VAT + £73 registration.

Level 3 ILM Certificate in First Line Management

The Full Certificate is available, which comprises 14 days of training to be delivered over a 12-18 month period. The course content provides flexibility to account for individual development needs and easy payment terms make it much more accessible. What's more, those who have completed our ILM Introductory award will have those 5 days counted already! The course cost is £1,150 + VAT + £105 registration.

Level 3 ILM Award in Workplace Coaching

This three day course is for Team Leaders and First Line Managers. Its aim is to equip them with knowledge, skills and confidence to perform effectively as workplace coaches as part of their normal working role. There are no formal entry requirements, but participants will normally be practising team leaders or first line managers. The course cost is £405 + VAT + £73 registration.

Level 5 ILM Award in Management

Middle managers have a fairly wide span of control that would possibly include a tier of Team Leaders and First Line Managers between them and the front line. They have autonomy in their area of responsibility and will be involved in recruitment, performance management, promotions and discipline of staff. Middle managers also manage budgets and hold a degree of financial accountability, and may negotiate directly with customers and suppliers when setting terms and prices. Middle managers may be project managers and will be responsible for quality, managing improvements and monitoring quality. This seven day course costs £865 + VAT plus £89 registration.

Level 5 ILM Certificate in Management Coaching and Mentoring

This six day course is designed for managers with a wider responsibility for coaching and mentoring of employees, especially junior managers, to enable them to perform to their full potential. The course cost is £720 + VAT + £114 registration

Team Leader Programme (ILM Certificate, NVQ2 and Key Skills)

Team Leaders are important people. They represent the first level of management in every organisation and as such need to be developed properly and early, particularly as they will become the supervisors and managers of the future. This programme will train your team leaders in the skills and techniques they require to carry out their roles and responsibilities effectively and confidently. It will support them, over a twelve month period, to ensure they convert their new skills into improved performance in the work place. Funding is available for eligible delegates.

Supervisor Programme (ILM Certificate, NVQ 3 and Key Skills)

Supervisors and First Line Managers are ultimately responsible for the performance, behaviour and conduct of their team. For some this can be a new way of working and they will need a different set of views, attitudes, skills and competencies. This structured development programme is designed specifically for them, regardless of the sector or company size they are in. The programme comprises training, coaching and assessment to the national standards at level 3. This programme consists of 13 workshops over 13 months. Funding is available for eligible delegates.

CIEH Award in Training Skills and Practice (Level 3)

This qualification is aimed at those who want to develop practical training skills and gain a recognised training qualification. It is appropriate for either a first time trainer who needs to understand the basics of training skills and practice, or those looking to define their training techniques. This course provides an opportunity to understand and practice a professional approach to training design and delivery. This three day course costs £465 + VAT.

NEBOSH General Certificate

The Nebosh General Certificate is a comprehensive development programme for those responsible for health &safety, and/or those wishing to start a career in health &safety. The course is widely recognised as the standard health and safety qualification for all industries and sectors, which includes private, public and voluntary. It is a comprehensive programme and the assessment is quite demanding, being tested by both theory examination and practical test. This 12 day course costs £1220 + VAT + £100 registration

IOSH Managing Safely

This four day course is for managers and supervisors responsible for Health &Safety in the work place. The course will provide knowledge and skills in risk assessment, planning safety measures, the latest legislation and monitoring safety at work. Cost is £495 + £20 Registration + VAT.

First Aid at Work

The Health &Safety at Work Act 1974 (HASAW) stipulates that it is the duty of every employer to ensure the health, safety and welfare at work of all their employees so far as is reasonably practical. This three day course covers dealing with accidents &illness, using a First Aid kit, simple record keeping, resuscitation &treatment of an unconscious casualty, choking, treatment of heart attack, control of bleeding, burns, scalds, poisoning, fractures and shock. Cost is £235 + VAT.

Emergency First Aid for the Workplace

This course is for anyone who is interested in providing first aid. It has been specifically designed to meet the requirements of the small to medium workplaces that present lower health and safety risks. Our course meets the requirements of the new Foundation course that the Health and Safety Executive is recommending under the new structure for first aid in the UK. Cost is £85 + VAT.

Food Foundation Safety (HABC)

If you work with food as part of your job, or you’re looking to work in the food industry, then you’ll need training in food safety. This course is endorsed by Highfield Awarding Body for Compliance (HABC) and supports legal requirement for any staff handling food to be appropriately trained. It provides an overall introduction into food safety, covering topics such as hygiene, bacteria, food poisoning and contamination. This on-line course, accessed via the internet, is aimed at anyone currently working in a role where you need to handle, prepare or cook food. It’s also great if you’re just about to start working in a role like this too, or if you are an employer looking for a cost effective training solution for your staff. There are no formal entry requirements and you don’t need any previous qualifications in Food Safety to start learning. The course costs £34.99 + VAT.

European Computer Driving Licence

ECDL is the industry standard IT qualification awarded to those who can use a computer effectively. It aims to ensure people get the best out of their computers and is suitable for both new and experienced users.The award is based on 7 modules and 7 tests which are: IT Security For Users, IT User Fundamentals, Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Databases, Presentations and Information & Communication.
